Abstract

This research examines the essential role of parenting programs in enhancing child well-being. As the foundational environment for a child's development, effective parenting significantly influences emotional, social, and cognitive growth. The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with parents who have participated in various parenting programs. Findings indicate that these programs provide critical skills, resources, and support systems that empower parents to foster a nurturing and stimulating environment. Participants reported improvements in parent-child interactions, increased confidence in parenting abilities, and enhanced understanding of child development principles. Furthermore, the research highlights the positive correlations between parenting program participation and various child well-being outcomes, including improved behavior, emotional regulation, and academic performance. By identifying best practices and key components of successful programs, this study contributes to the discourse on child welfare and offers practical recommendations for policymakers and practitioners. Ultimately, the findings underscore the need for accessible, community-based parenting programs as a vital strategy for promoting child well-being and fostering healthier family dynamics.
